Friday Focus - Reopening with A Top Rating
Daisy's Cafe Earns a Level 5 Hygiene Rating Just in Time for Restrictions Lifting
We having a celebratory cup of tea over at Daisy's Cafe this week for our Friday Focus because we have just been awarded the highest food hygiene rating possible after our inspection earlier this week. Tracey and Simon will be displaying it pride of place to show off their hard work and high standards.
But not only that, from Monday the 19th more COVID restrictions will lift and we can move forward with bringing more hubbub back to our hub.
You will no longer have to book your table at Daisy's Cafe, instead, you can visit us on a whim, or when your craving for cake or a tasty lunch gets too much. The opening hours will also be returning to 8:45am to 4pm, with hot, homecooked food served between 9:30am to 2pm.
If you visit the cafe between 9:30 and 10:30 am, you'll even be able to join in with one of our wonderful Chatter Tables. Open to all, these tables are a chance to come in, have a drink and meet our volunteers who are ready to have a natter.
We also will be increasing the number of people who can attend Daybreaks and our Activity Sessions in the next month or so. If you would like to see what activities you can currently attend, you can find out here.
After over a year of waiting, we will be welcoming Shaun back to resume hairdressing at Sage House at the end of July and we can't wait! There is also wellbeing therapies, such as massages with Jill Dennison, and assisted bathing in our purpose-built bathroom available too. You can see a 3D tour of our bathroom here before you come for a soak. Or find out more about our rooms and services on this page.
We look forward to welcoming even more of you back to Sage House from Monday!
